There are quite the few things going on at the university right now, and as most of you probably know there are quite a few spots open for grabs for anyone that is interested in getting involved extracurricular university business.
First of all the Student Union is still looking for a couple of students from each department to become their student represenatives. The last date for nominations is due Friday. Secondly, the Student Union in still looking for students to sit in the recruitment-group for professors and lectors. If you feel like you are up for the task, then please see the attached document for further information – Utlysning rekryteringsgrupper; lektorer och professorer!
Furthermore, Annerose Nisser, our student represenative at the Equality Committee at the DPCR has invited any and all students to join the equality group. “That is a group of about 5 students, led by Leon and Annerose, which meets regularly to discuss upcoming issues, student requests and how we generally can work for equal opportunities regardless worldview, disabilities, sexual orientation and identity, gender, age and ethnicity”. If there are any students who are interested in participating, please contact Annerose – firstname.lastname@example.org – to get a chance to be invited to the next meeting and any upcoming events.
Lastly, the Committee of Education will have another meeting this Tuesday, November 4th at 12:15PM, to discuss the agendas of both of the upcoming department board meetings. No room has yet been booked for this meeting, so please se our Facebook page for further details.
